Tallneck Tech Warranty Policy
At Tallneck Tech, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our custom-built PCs. We are pleased to offer a comprehensive two-year warranty to ensure your satisfaction and peace of mind.
Warranty Coverage
This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship in your custom-built PC under normal use during the warranty period.
Warranty Period
The warranty period for your custom-built PC is two (2) years from the date of purchase.
What is Covered
- Hardware Components: This warranty covers all hardware components of the custom-built PC, including but not limited to the motherboard, CPU, RAM, GPU, power supply, storage devices, and cooling systems.
- Labor: This warranty includes labor costs for repair or replacement of defective components.
- Shipping: For the first 30 days past the date of purchase, all shipping costs for warranty covered repairs will be covered by Tallneck Tech. Past the 30 day mark, the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping for repairs done by Tallneck Tech. We strongly recommended saving the original packaging from your PC in the event of future warranty claims.
What is Not Covered
- Software Issues: This warranty does not cover software issues, including operating system or application software problems, or any third-party software installed after purchase.
- Accidental Damage: This warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, liquid spills, electrical surges, or unauthorized modifications, such as removal, reinsertion, or swapping of original components, or modifying BIOS settings to achieve overclocked CPU, ram, or GPU settings outside safe operating parameters. Damage caused by running hardware stressing, 24 hour applications such as stress tests, bitcoin mining, blockchain algorithms, and other CPU/GPU intensive programs are not covered.
- Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, and damage caused by the use of non-approved components or peripherals are not covered.
- Unauthorized Repairs: Any repairs or modifications performed by anyone other than an authorized Tallneck Tech technician will void this warranty.
How to Obtain Warranty Service
1. Contact Customer Service: If you experience any issues with your custom-built PC, contact our customer service team at tallnecktech@gmail.com or 1-201-429-3626 with your order number, a description of the issue, and any supporting photos or videos.
2. Troubleshooting: Our customer service team will assist you with troubleshooting steps to determine the cause of the issue.
3. Return Authorization: If the issue cannot be resolved through troubleshooting, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.
4. Shipping: Securely pack your custom-built PC and include all original accessories and documentation. Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package. Ship the package to the address provided by our customer service team. We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Tallneck Tech will cover the shipping costs for warranty repairs.
Repair or Replacement
- Repair: If a hardware component is found to be defective and is covered by this warranty, we will repair the component at no cost to you.
- Replacement: If a hardware component cannot be repaired, we will replace it with a new or refurbished component of equal or greater value.
Warranty Transfer
This warranty is transferable to a new owner if the custom-built PC is sold or given as a gift. The new owner must provide the original proof of purchase to validate the warranty.
