Tallneck Tech Return Policy

At Tallneck Tech, we strive to provide our customers with the highest quality custom PCs and components. We understand that there may be occasions when you need to return a product. Please read our return policy carefully to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Custom-Built PCs: Due to the personalized nature of custom-built PCs, we accept returns only if the product is defective or damaged upon arrival. Returns for any other reason will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Components and Accessories: Unopened and unused components and accessories can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Opened or used items may be subject to a restocking fee.
  • Used/Refurbished PCs: Used and refurbished computers are sold AS-IS, but we provide a window of 30 days to report any issues with the computer and return it fre

2. Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact our customer service team, tallnecktech@gmail.com, within 30 days of receiving your order. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including shipping costs.

3. Return Process

  • Contact Customer Service: Reach out to our customer service team at tallnecktech@gmail.com or 1-201-429-3626 with your order number, a description of the issue, and any supporting photos or videos.
  • Return Authorization: Once your return request is approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.
  • Packaging and Shipping: Securely pack the item(s) in the original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and documentation. Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package. Ship the package to the address provided by our customer service team. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

4. Refunds and Replacements

  • Refunds: Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
  • Replacements: If you opted for a replacement, the new item will be shipped to you within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item(s).

5. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-built PCs (unless defective or damaged)
  • Any Custom-built PC that has been modified, including but not limited to modified BIOS, overclocking, or tampering of parts.
  • PC damage due to improper use, such as improper electrical grounding and voltage regulation, improper ventilation, humidity, liquid spills, dropping or hitting the computer, or running strenuous 24 hour applications such as Bitcoin mining and block chain algorithm applications.
  • Opened software and digital downloads
  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

6. Restocking Fees

A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to returned items that are not defective or damaged. This fee covers the cost of inspecting, testing, and repackaging the items.

7. Shipping Costs

  • Defective or Damaged Items: We will cover all shipping costs for returns of defective or damaged items.
  • Other Returns: Customers are responsible for shipping costs for returns of non-defective items.
